New Reduced Rates for Purchase Tax

A few days ago, the government released the new figures for calculating Purchase Tax/Mas Rechisha, based on the inflation of 2023, and the taxation brackets have all gone up, which means that across the board, buyers will be enjoying reductions in their Purchase Tax!


So for example: an Israeli buying his first property here, for 3 million NIS–instead of paying 48,684 NIS for his Purchase Tax, he'll now pay 45,538 NIS.


He just saved close to $1,000!


The exact amounts vary from case to case based on the apartment price and other factors, but this is good news for purchases across all brackets.
